This past Sabbath was a memorable and meaningful day at Shalem Seventh-day Adventist Church, where members gathered for a beautiful service of Communion under the leadership of Pastor Edwin McBride. The congregation joined together in commemorating and celebrating the life and sacrifice of Jesus through the sacred ordinance of humility. Serving alongside for worship were the elders, deacons and deaconess teams.
In addition to the Communion service, the day also marked a major highlight for the church’s youth ministries. Shalem held its Pathfinder Induction Ceremony, welcoming new members into the Shalem Stars Pathfinder and Adventurer Clubs. As a committed Master Guide, Pastor McBride participated in the induction alongside the young people and leadership team, symbolizing his active support of the next generation.
The day was filled with reverence, dedication, and community joy. It was a reflection of the vibrant ministry taking place within Shalem SDA Church. From spiritual renewal to youth development, Shalem continues to do amazing things for the glory of God and the growth of the church family.
