On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, Lake Region Conference (LRC) administrators convened with directors and office staff for the first full staff meeting of the new year. The gathering brought together team members for important updates, collaboration, and a shared focus on mission.
During the meeting, participants received calendar updates and reminders regarding office policies and procedures. Time was also intentionally set aside for icebreakers and team-building activities, fostering connection and unity across departments.
Interim President Dr. Abraham Henry, Chief Financial Officer Kent Nichols, and Vice President for Multilingual Ministries Eddie Allen led informational sessions that emphasized leading with the highest levels of professionalism and purpose. Dr. Henry opened the meeting with a devotional drawn from Luke 10 and Acts 2, highlighting how evangelism flourished when believers worked together and the Holy Spirit moved among them.
“LRC is called to come and work together,” Dr. Henry shared. He further noted, “The mission outruns the method, which may change from time to time, but the message stays the same.” Drawing a parallel to the Day of Pentecost, he encouraged employees to be “multiplied by mission—loving, serving, teaching, and preaching—as we work together and watch God expand the field.”
The meeting set a clear spiritual and strategic tone for the year ahead, reinforcing Multiply by Mission as the Lake Region Conference theme for 2026.
