On Wednesday, January 7, 2026, the administrators, directors, and staff of the Lake Region Conference came together for a special office farewell celebration honoring Elder Garth Gabriel and Mrs. Rosita Gabriel. The gathering recognized Elder Gabriel’s years of faithful service and impactful leadership at Lake Region Conference.
The celebration was filled with heartfelt appreciation as colleagues reflected on Elder Gabriel’s influence, leadership, and friendship. Zakia Jarrett, Lake Region Conference Human Resources Director, shared, “Today is about gratitude for service rendered and honoring the dedication, sacrifice, commitment, and impact that Elder Gabriel has had on the Lake Region Conference.”
Administrators, directors, and staff shared meaningful memories and words of thanks, highlighting not only Elder Gabriel’s role as president, but also the personal connections built along the way.
Elder Gabriel and First Lady Rosita Gabriel expressed sincere appreciation for the outpouring of love and support. Mrs. Gabriel thanked the team for their continued prayers and tangible support over the years and shared her confidence that Lake Region Conference will continue to do great things for God.
Elder Gabriel also shared words of gratitude, saying, “I’m really thankful to have had the privilege of working with you all. Thank you for making this team a better team. I know without a shadow of a doubt that Lake Region will always be the ‘great’ Lake Region Conference because of you.”
