2024 Camp Meeting Weekend Speakers
Sabbath Speaker – June 22nd – Michelle Hill
Michelle Hill pastors the Pembroke and Midland Heights Seventh-day Adventist Churches and is the Prayer and Women’s Ministries Director of the Bermuda Conference. Pastor Hill has spoken in South Africa, Kenya, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Canada, and the United States. Pastor Michelle Roseanne Hill has dedicated her life to ministry and serves with all of her heart, soul, and might. She is keenly interested in ministering to women and has been privileged to speak at numerous women’s events locally and internationally. She is the founder of WCIP, Women Connecting in Prayer, which meets virtually every Wednesday morning to pray and praise. She is a sought-after intercessor and has been called upon to offer prayers on various platforms. Pastor Hill is a member of the North American Women’s Ministry Advisory, the Atlantic Union Women’s Ministry Advisory Committee, and, until 2021, was a member of the North American Division Pastoral Advisory Committee. Michelle Hill is married to Dwayne Hill, who serves alongside her as an elder.
Ordination Speaker – June 27th – T. Ron Weegar
A native of Liberia, Pastor Theodore Rondolphus Weegar, affectionately called Pastor T. Ron Weegar, is the senior pastor of the Berean SDA Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the Southwest Region Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Pastor Weegar began his ministry in the South Central Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists where he was blessed to pastor in the Eastern Tennessee and Mississippi Gulf Coast areas before coming to serve in the Southwest Region Conference where he served the historic Ephesus SDA Church for 10 years before taking up the pastorate at Berean SDA Church. More than anything, he loves the Lord and his people. Evangelism and soul winning are the life blood of his ministry. His testimony after losing his sight due to glaucoma is “I may have lost my sight but I have not lost my vision. His favorite scriptures are Psalm 91:1 and Romans 8:28.
Sabbath Speaker – June 28th – Henry Wright
Pastor Wright has served as a Minister, Professor, Church Administrator, Family Counselor, and Radio and TV host. Elder Henry Monroe Wright began his ministerial career in 1964. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Oakwood College, a Master of Systematic Theology from Andrews University, a Master of Divinity Degree from Ohio-based Methodist Theological Seminary and has done D.Min studies in church administration at Vanderbilt University. His ministerial assignments have taken him to Louisville, KY; Greenville, and Jackson, MI; Columbus, OH; Alexandria, VA; and Takoma Park, MD. During his almost 54 years of ministry, he has received more than fifty awards and recognition for pastoral leadership, preaching, and evangelism. His professor’s years were at Oakwood University from 1978-1983. Since1995 he has been an adjunct professor in Homiletics at Washington Adventist University. Administratively, he has served as President of Allegheny West Conference of SDA, as Executive Secretary of the Columbia Union Conference of SDA, and as director of Education for Home Health, Inc.
