Cassopolis, MI – Tuesday, May 20th
The LRC Education Department held its much-anticipated annual Field Day at Camp Wagner in Cassopolis, Michigan, bringing together students from across the territory for a day of fun, fellowship, and unforgettable memories.
Under the leadership of Superintendent Deirdre Garnett and her dedicated team of teachers and educational staff, students from [insert number] schools gathered for a celebration of community and learning outside the classroom. While the original outdoor plans were affected by rainy weather, the team seamlessly shifted to Plan B—moving the day’s activities indoors to the Deliverance Youth Center on the campgrounds.
From energetic kindergartners to enthusiastic 8th and 9th graders, students participated in a variety of exciting indoor activities, including relay races, a bouncy house, basketball, life-size checkers, and more. Laughter and joy filled the air as students made the most of the experience, rain or shine.
The day concluded with more games and a lively pizza party, leaving students with full hearts—and full bellies. Thanks to the flexibility and dedication of the teachers, chaperones, and volunteers, the event was a resounding success.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to every teacher and chaperone who helped make the day special for our students. Your care and commitment to their growth and happiness are truly appreciated.
We look forward to an even brighter and sunnier Field Day next year!
